Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives every citizen the right to request information from public sector organisations including Government, local authorities, the National Health Service, schools, the Police and the Fire Service.

Our publication scheme

We already make a lot of the information we hold available, either by publishing it on our website or by making it available for you to inspect.

Our publication scheme provides a guide to the information that we publish regularly or intend to publish in the future. Download our  Publication scheme (PDF 479KB). If you cannot find information you want in our publication scheme or by searching our website, you will need to ask us for it.

Submitting a Freedom of Information request

Before you submit a Freedom of Information request, please check our “Information you can find on our website” section (below) or Common freedom of information requests page, as we might have already published it.

If you want to submit a request, please email foi@dacorum.gov.uk giving as much detail as possible about your request. We may contact you to clarify your request.
