Shopping and town centres
Dacorum offers a wide selection of shops and town centre attractions with its town centres of Hemel Hempstead, Old Town Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring.
Hemel Hempstead has many modern high street stores and two shopping centres - Marlowes Shopping Centre and
Riverside, which includes a Debenhams department store. The high street referred to as the Old Town contains many antique and speciality shops.
Each of the separate neighbourhood centres of Hemel Hempstead has its own shopping centre or parade of local
shops for the convenience of local residents.
The Jarman Park leisure campus has a large supermarket, cinema and restaurants, and there are three separate edge-of-town retail parks
at Apsley including a supermarket and a number of electrical, hardware and furnishing outlets.
Berkhamsted and Tring
Berkhamsted and Tring both have a very varied mix of shops and boutiques with some unusual retailers, as well as high street shops and supermarkets.
Farmers' Markets are held every month on a Friday in Tring. For details, visit the Tring Farmers' Market website.
French Markets and Farmers Markets are also held in Berkhamsted. The Farmers Market is held on the third Sunday of each month from 10am to 2pm. For more information, please visit the Berkhamsted Farmers' Market website.
Bovingdon and Kings Langley
The larger villages of Bovingdon and Kings Langley (with 3,000 or more residents), offer a range of places to shop.
Rural Dacorum - and there is plenty of it - has a number of garden centres.
