Taxi ranks
There are a number of taxi ranks around Dacorum which can be used by our licensed hackney carriages.
Only hackney carriages licensed by us are permitted to use these taxi ranks. Personal cars, goods vehicles, taxis from other areas and private hire vehicles may not use or stop on designated taxi ranks during their operational times.
Private ranks
There are also a number of taxi ranks in Dacorum that are on private land. To use these ranks drivers must obtain permission from the landowner, and in some cases must purchase a special permit.
