Love Where You Live

Love Where You Live logo: 'lovewhereyoulive.org'Love Where You Live is an anti-litter initiative run by Keep Britain Tidy that encourages us to make where we live, work and play the kind of place that we really want it to be. It’s about communities, schools and organisations working side by side to make their little bits of England cleaner, greener and altogether more loveable.

We are asking residents, schools, businesses and community groups to stop what they are doing for a few minutes and follow the Love Where You Live key message - that small actions can lead to big change.

More information is available on the Love Where You Live website.

How can I get involved?

Organise your own litter pick

Why not organise a litter pick in your local area? Register your event on the Big Tidy Up website to receive your tidy up pack, including a guide to organising your event, tabards and bags.

You can borrow litter-picking equipment from our Clean, Safe and Green department, and we can arrange for the bags of litter to be collected following your event.

If you would like to organise a litter pick, please call 01442 228000 and ask for 'Clean, Safe and Green' or email cleansafegreen@dacorum.gov.uk.

Free litter awareness talks for schools

Primary schools in Dacorum can get a free litter awareness package - a litter awareness talk followed up by a litter pick of the school grounds and/or surrounding area.

For more information, please call 01442 228000 and ask for 'Clean, Safe and Green' or email cleansafegreen@dacorum.gov.uk.

Litter-picking equipment is loaned on a first come, first served basis.
