Polling places review 2019
We're conducting a review of polling districts and polling places. The current location of polling stations and the extent of the polling districts are available to view on our Local Information Map.
To view the the current station locations and polling district boundaries on the map, please follow these steps:
- Click on the ‘What would you like to do’ menu in the top left-hand corner.
- Select 'Choose map layers' and click on ‘administrative area'.
- Tick 'polling districts' and 'polling stations'.
- Click/hover over the polling station box to get the address.
You should then reach a page similar to this one: Local Information Map example (PDF 1MB), with check marks against the polling stations and polling districts boxes in the left-hand margin.
Electors within the authority, within the Hemel Hempstead UK Parliamentary Constituency or that part of the West Herts UK Parliamentary within the borough boundary, may comment on the situation of the polling station and polling districts.
We welcome the views of all residents, particularly disabled residents, on the authority’s current provision or any other matters relating to polling stations and districts.
We also welcome any person or body with expertise in access for persons with any type of disability to make a representation or to comment on our provision, or any other related matters.
Persons or bodies making representations should, if possible, give alternative places that may be used as polling places or make reasonable suggestions for improving current locations.
How to comment
All representations should be emailed to email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org by 13 December 2019.
Any submissions or proposed changes will be outlined on the website and then reviewed at a forthcoming meeting of the Electoral Review Committee for submission to Council in January 2020.
Any proposed alteration to a boundary or a polling place will not apply to the forthcoming UK parliamentary election on 12 December.
