Resident parking permits

We have nine controlled parking zones (areas where you can only park in certain designated bays) in Dacorum. To park in these areas, you must display a valid permit or visitor voucher.

Beaumayes, Hemel Hempstead "B" zone Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm 
Boxmoor "X" zone Monday to Friday, 9am to 10am and 2pm to 3pm 
Corner Hall, Hemel Hempstead "S" zone  Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm 
Cotterells, Hemel Hempstead  "C" zone  Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm 
Hospital area, Hemel Hempstead "H" zone  Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm 
Kodak, Hemel Hempstead "K" zone  Monday to Sunday, 8am to 10pm 
Roughdown, Hemel Hempstead "R" zone  Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm 
Tring Station "TS" zone Monday to Sunday, 8am to 6pm

Parking permits

 If you live in a controlled parking zone area and your address qualifies, you can:

  • buy one permit per person, and
  • up to a maximum of three permits per property for vehicles registered to your address.

Permit prices

  • £25 for the first car
  • £40 for the second car
  • £40 for the third car
  • £10 for a motorcycle
  • Free for a disabled person’s vehicle

Once we have received your application and payment, the permit will be posted to you. Please allow three working days for your permit application to be processed.

Visitor vouchers and permits can also be collected from Customer Services, located in The Forum in Hemel Hempstead - for opening hours, see our Contact us page. Please allow a minimum of three working days for the processing of your permit before collection.

Residents wishing to collect visitor vouchers or permits in person, or by a nominated individual, will be sent a unique collection code, either by email or telephone. You or your nominated person will need to give this code to Customer Services in order for them to issue the vouchers or permit.
