We're reviewing the current Public Spaces Protection Order (Hemel Hempstead) 2019, which prohibits spitting, urinating, defecating, cycling and skateboarding in Hemel Hempstead town centre.
PSPOs are aimed at ensuring public spaces can be enjoyed free from anti-social behaviour. They are not about stopping the responsible use of public spaces - but they do provide us with a tool to tackle persistent issues that are damaging
As part of the review we are asking for feedback from residents and other stakeholders on the effect the PSPO has had in Hemel Hempstead town centre and if you would like to see any changes made to it.
We continue to work with our partners to develop safe and healthy communities, where everyone feels secure, free from the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour.
Find out more and complete the survey.
The deadline for completing the survey is 5pm on Friday 8 April 2022.
