From Saturday (19 December 2020) the whole of Hertfordshire, including Dacorum, will move into coronavirus Tier 3 (Very High alert).
What the new local Tier 3 restrictions mean:
- No mixing of households indoors, or most outdoor places, apart from support bubbles
- You can meet others in a group of up to six in some outdoor public spaces, including parks and the countryside
- You can go to the shops, gyms, libraries, places of worship and hairdressers/beauty services
- Hospitality is closed, with the exception of sales by takeaway, drive-through or delivery
- Everyone who can work from home should do so
- Avoid travelling outside your area, other than where necessary, such as for work or education.
Please remember to follow the guidance on washing your hands, covering your face and keeping two metres apart. As you spend more time indoors, you should also ventilate your home regularly to allow virus particles out and let fresh air in.
