We are the first housing provider in the country to achieve a nationally recognised standard for its approach to tenant involvement.
Our Housing team was awarded the Pro Landlord accreditation from Tpas, the leading experts for tenant engagement.
The team was praised for the wide range of involvement opportunities for its tenants and leaseholders, including focus groups, community events, surveys and a Youth Tenant Involvement group.
Elliott Brooks, Assistant Director for Housing, said: “We are passionate about tenant involvement, so for our approach to be recognised by Tpas is a great reward for our housing service; and of course our tenants and leaseholders. To be the first social landlord to achieve this makes it even more special.
“The accreditation demanded high standards of involvement and engagement. We have been able to demonstrate that we listen to and involve our tenants in all areas of the service as well as enabling them to scrutinise and hold us to account. We would like to thank our partners who have worked with us to achieve the standards.”
Tpas brings landlords, tenants and contractors together to find solutions to improve services, save money and bring lasting change to communities.
